Here is the short report about the Rotary Club Munich Central 4. The name of the village is Nyaung Pin Kan. It is in Nyaung U township and it is only about 25 km away from Bagan. The village has 400 families and there are over 1800 people living in the village. They have two tube wells. The tube well where we installed our solar water system pumps 1500 gallons of water per hour. The total water needed by the village is over 20000 gallon of water per day. Now our system can use 7 hours and it pumps around 10000 gallons. Now it covers the half amount the village needs. They distribute water by pipeline through a water meter. The depth of the tube well is 650 feet. Formally they use diesel, and they need to use 5 gallons of diesel per day. Now they reduced half of them. Now they also have electricity but because of the low voltage and electricity shortages they need to use diesel. Now they are happy and they send a lot of best wishes to Rotary München Mitte. /Min Min
